I am a diehard South Park fan, and I am in favor of being able to poke fun at celebrities and elected officialsโฆ
But I find it noteworthy that they just completely ignored the last 4 years of Biden being a vegetable, and are now all-in on bashing Trump all the sudden.
This comes after South Park made fun of the all the anti-vaxxers and โconspiracy theoristsโ during the pandemic, and all those people turned out to be right about everythingโฆ
Then, in 2020, Trey and Matt said they wanted to take a break from politics after getting everything wrong about Trump, Russia, Covid, vaccines, and more. They said they just wanted to get back to being funny, while completely ignoring Biden being a walking joke factory for 4 years, just to fire back up the political episodes as soon as Trump comes back.
If South Park would have made fun of Biden, I wouldnโt have said anything, but they didnโt, so now this Trump-bashing just comes off as politically motivated. South Park prides themselves for, supposedly, going after EVERYONE, but they let Biden and the Dems off the hook for the last 8 yearsโฆ
As a lifelong South Park fan, it has been disappointing to see this franchise fall off, and it all started around the 2016 election. Itโs never been the same. There have been some funny moments, but something changed.

I've been paying tax for 52 years, every year without fail, and for many of those years , I've been paying a higher rate.
I've paid my PAYE
I've paid Council Tax
I've paid Stamp duty
I've paid Corporation tax
I've paid Capital Gains Tax
I've paid VAT
I've paid Business Rates
I've paid road tax
Then when I die my estate will be taxed.
I've never claimed benefit of any kind.
I've never had kids, so didn't use the education system, apart from my own limited use.
I have as yet never burdened the NHS.
I have created businesses from scratch and this created jobs, where my employees paid their taxes.
I've never been in trouble with the police, I've never used Legal Aid system.
So when I hear young TV commentators, that have had less than five years paying into this system because their education took them into their early 20s. This young parasitic class who have never bought one property, because it's their choice to live in London, and eat out in fancy over priced bistros, tell viewers that older people are a burden to society it makes my blood boil.
One of the biggest burdens this country has is incompetent self serving politicians , who prefer to give our taxes to projects overseas in Foreign Aid, dole them out in subsidies for the evidence starved ethos of Net Zero, creating multimillionaires in the process and fine people for driving their vehicles through ULEZ zones, crippling businesses and charities and home owners alike, and their sickening bloated expenses.
Add to this burden the wealth transfer system of HS2 and wars that need not be fought, and unsustainable immigration flooding the country with millions who are dependent on on the state not contributors to it.
I think you'll find today's boomers have been part of the growth of this country not its eventual decline.

As much as I like the intent, the problem with these petitions is that you won't get a 'debate', because you are unable to put forward a speaker to represent your side.
What you will get is a parliamentary lecture and reiteration of why it is necessary.
