Like so many of you, we are outraged by the death of George Floyd.
Black people have been discriminated against, victimised and murdered for too long. The constant adversity that black people face has exposed the engrained racist systems that are amongst society. (1)

There is an abundance of resources available online to help you stand with the Black Lives Matter movement - we have collated a few as place for you to start, see the images below. Take the first step and enact change.

We must educate ourselves; we must petition, we must donate, and we must talk to those around us. Do not sit in silence. Uncomfortable conversations need to be had. Call out racism wherever you find it. (3)

Enough is enough, it has to be challenged.
This is not an issue bound to the USA, it is a worldwide crises. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Tonight would have been our annual GeogSoc Summer Ball. We decided to have a big committee zoom chat to celebrate our year & our last night as a committee! We even decided to get a bit dressy 💃

Everyday, my family and I go for a walk, being stuck in the house trying to write a diss is frustrating! Going out on that walk helps to clear the mind and make me more productive when I get home & it’s so nice to get some fresh air

My sister had to cancel her (Hawaiian themed) 18th Birthday Party, so we decided to throw her a surprise one instead!! Even though it wasn’t quite the same as the real thing, we all ended up having lots of fun!
