We are pleased to announce that Sophie Crossthorn has been selected to be the Liberal Democrat candidate to win back Sheffield Hallam at the next General Election.
Very sad, thoughts are with Paul’s family & friends. He was a long standing colleague on the council, we disagreed on policy on occasions but we did this in a polite and constructive manner. Despite his illness during Covid Paul continued to play a active member of @SheffCouncil
Sheffield Labour MPs have today chosen to stand with Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves rather than nearly 75,000 pensioners in our city.
Labour's own research suggested that up to 4,000 pensioners could lose their lives as they will now have to choose between heating and eating.
Hotel in Rotherham currently under attack , police trying to bring protect hotel are also under attack, this has to stop, violence will not solve any of the problems communities face in the UK at the moment @BBCLookNorth@BBCNewsnight@SkyNews@BBCBreaking
We need a more engaging type of politics, not one that just points and says "Vote for me because I'm not them"
I got into politics because I was annoyed and I wanted to give people a chance to vote for real hope and a #FairDeal
