Türkiye sends its most powerful troops to Somalia!

The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed today that new troops have been sent to Somalia to strengthen military operations in the country, especially in the maritime and coastal areas.

The new troops sent to Somalia include the Amphibious Land Infantry Battalion, a unit of the Turkish Marine Corps. The unit has the ability to carry out maritime and coastal operations, and is ready to operate in areas where the sea and land meet, especially in counter-terrorism and port security operations.

The special forces known as the Amphibious Land Infantry Battalion will operate in southern and northern Somalia under the command of the Somali-Turkish Task Force
