To those attacking this girl, or asking "what could the company even have done?", look at the attached images and see exactly what a company can do to prevent something like this.

I think some of you have forgotten why we gathered here in the first place. It was never only about a character or a game. It was also about the people who, as we later learned, had been facing cyberbullying, harassment and doxxing this entire time. That is precisely what we set out to stand against - including defending the character from the same slander and abuse. It's a shame that some have forgotten this and turned on a girl instead, throwing accusations at her, or using her case as ammunition against "radical" players.

Wake up! These are serious matters, and they matter more than a game. Stop defending the company and acting as its advocates. At the very least, all of this could have been avoided if they had talked to us, if they had responded to our complaints. Three months of silence, while people are fed hopium squeezed out of individual letters are you really fine with that? Do you consider that a healthy way for a company to speak to its community? Ignoring a paying audience because of a small but loud group?

I also condemn anyone who thinks spreading this story to force PPG to react is acceptable. It is not. Do not use someone else's pain for that. It is wrong from every angle. Stop amplifying this, leave her alone and give her the quiet she needs after all this horror. More attention can only harm her.

It makes me sick to watch large accounts defend the company in a situation like this, and worry about the wrong tag.
