My first bike ride of 2026 is officially in the books. There’s nothing like that first push off the pavement - the fresh air, the rhythm, the feeling that the year is finally shifting into gear. I’m hoping to make this a steady routine, getting out 4 or 5 times a week.

Linda and I drove to Cornwall today to have lunch at Chuck’s Roadhouse. The food was amazing and our server Lisa was great.

Last night, Linda and I enjoyed a delicious four‑course dinner in the Main Dining Room aboard the Holland America Eurodam. From the moment we sat down, everything felt just right — the elegant setting, the relaxed atmosphere, and that familiar sense of being well taken care of.

Linda and I were saddened to hear about the passing of Don Tarlton. Donald (DKD) was a friend and also a neighbour of ours in Dorval for over 30 years. R.I.P. Donald.
