An afternoon well spent.
I decided to adorn our Indian Cart with some summery planters. I’ve topped the pots with our crushed shells, which will help retain moisture during the Summer months, they look prettier than soil and will help to deter slugs too.

Established in the 70’s by my husband’s grandfather, our company has processed all manner of shellfish over the years from lobster and crabs to scallops and whelks.

Currently in its third generation, we now specialise in processing whelks.
In 2019 we launched Shell on Earth as a way of recycling the shells that are a by-product of our processing. We’re unable to put them back into the sea so we had to find a creative way of utilising 2/3
