Hey Shell Fam❤️

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our mainnet and to kick off a groundbreaking chapter for stablecoin in the #BTCFi ecosystem.

Explore the BTCFi Journey: https://t.co/Hy3sHaazsQ
User Guidance: https://t.co/m2gr2rltHY

[What is Shell Finance]
Shell Finance is a #decentralized stablecoin protocol built on Bitcoin #Layer1, leveraging PSBTs and DLCs.

We support BTC, Ordinals NFTs, Runes, BRC-20 and other Bitcoin ecosystem assets as collateral to mint #SUSD (SUSD • SUSD • SUSD).

Users can access liquidity directly on Bitcoin Layer 1 without needing to bridge assets elsewhere.

More details: https://t.co/E2avsa7iUA

[Why Built a Stablecoin Protocol on BTC Layer 1]
- BTCFi is Coming
Bitcoin faces a critical challenge: after this halving, block rewards drop to 3.125 BTC per block, which is not sufficient to sustain miner incentives and maintain network security.
To address this, increased transaction fees on Bitcoin Layer 1 are essential. Innovations like Ordinals NFTs, BRC-20, and Runes have helped, and BTCFi on Layer 1 can further support Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision.

- Superior Liquidity and Security
Bitcoin Layer 1 offers the best liquidity and security. Assets like BTC, Ordinals NFTs, Runes, BRC-20, and Atomicals originate and primarily remain on Bitcoin L1.

- No Stablecoin Trading Pairs on Bitcoin Ecosystem
Almost all trading pairs in the Bitcoin ecosystem are BTC-based. Users not only need to monitor the asset-to-BTC price, but also Bitcoin’s price itself, which creates significant friction. Stablecoins within the Bitcoin ecosystem can effectively solve this issue.

[How to Use Shell Finance]
- Borrow #SUSD Using Collateral
Supported Assets: BTC,@nodemonkes, @OrdinalMaxiBiz,@quantumcats, @lepuppeteerfou,Ordi, Sats. Runes supported coming in Jan 2025.

Other Assets: Stay tuned for future announcements.

Fractal Bitcoin: Support coming to @fractal_bitcoin in Dec 2024

Wallets Supported: @wallet,@unisat_wallet, @xverse (Dec,2024), and more!

- Participate as a Liquidator in Auctions
Collateral enters the auction process if it hits the liquidation threshold.

Liquidators can purchase collateral below the floor price using #SUSD, creating arbitrage opportunities.

After purchasing liquidated collateral, you can sell it on @dot_swap,@MagicEden or @okxweb3 or just hold it!

- Arbitrage Trading
#SUSD may trade slightly above or below $1, offering opportunities for leverage trading.

We’ll start with a pool on @dot_swap and expand to @MagicEden,@Unisat_wallet, and other platforms later.

And more exciting features to come!

Thank you again, get your first - and welcome aboard the #BTCFi journey with Shell Finance!

After PizzaSwap enabled Mainnet #Runes deposits,
@ShellFinance_ created a trading pair on PizzaSwap.

For users concerned about #FB's price volatility, you can hedge risks by using the $SUSD/ $FB trading pair to swap $FB into stablecoins!

[Tim Hsieh @Sky_ranker]

这是pizzaswap支持主网runes充值后，@ShellFinance_ 在pizzaswap上构建的交易对。对于担忧fb下跌的用户，可以通过susd-fb交易对来避险，将fb换成稳定币

Fiat-backed stablecoins are always a black box.

Only smart contracts can truly guarantee that your money is yours—transparent and fully backed on-chain.

Over-collateralized stablecoins are the future, and that’s exactly what Shell Finance is building. 🛠️🔐

📌More on Runes assets in PizzaSwap:

🔸We're working with Shell Finance @ShellFinance_ to integrate SUSD•SUSD•SUSD, a stablecoin synthetic asset issued by Shell Finance based on the Runes Protocol, valued at 1 US Dollar. https://t.co/qSzz89VlOD
🔸$sUSD on Bitcoin will be bridged to Fractal via Simple Bridge and wrapped into brc-20- SUSD (sSUSD___000) for trading in PizzaSwap.
🔸This allows seamless pairing and swaps of SUSD against other brc-20 assets.
🔸You'll soon be able to deposit SUSD to PizzaSwap in a single step - just like brc-20 assets. Simple, fast, and no more bridging headaches!
