that they need to be replaced twice at 35k & 60k, then Consumer affairs says only at 105k. Another dealership says 135k, then backtracked to 90k. Who is supposed to know when is the best time @Kia? Are you not the professions who should advise your customers?
@Kia dealership & Consumer Affairs aren’t aligned. After 45 days, Kia denies my 100k warranty, citing spark plugs not replaced, after all major mileage service was completed at their dealership! Inconsistent messages that….
@TinaFierce@Kia Yes girl, if you’re under warranty and you don’t replace them they’ll void your warranty. known for engine defects depending on the year of your car. I’m battling this with @Kia right now and my family is 42 days and counting without a car. @DublinKia has been unhelpful too.
@thekiaforum@BillyStrings 30+ mins nearly everyday calling Kia Consumer Affairs, to follow up on 100k/10yr powertrain warranty that I’m still entitled to. Stating neglect DESPITE all maintenance records since 2016. CAR HAS SAT AT @DublinKia SINCE 2/17/26!!! @Kia IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS???
@Kia I sent you a DM. Currently on the phone with @Kia Consumer Affairs, following up yet AGAIN! I was told my case is still pending review, I need this escalated ASAP, phone calls daily to consumer affairs is not working and @DublinKia is no longer speaking with me on this matter.
@Kia I’ve done every major service (45k & 60k) at YOUR dealership. Now you void my warranty claiming neglect for a part your techs inspected? This is bad faith. 40 days of stress is enough. Case: 25920425. I’m not paying for your engine failure. #Kia#stress@abc7newsbayarea

[🚨 Thread] 39 DAYS & COUNTING: Why is @DublinKia denying a warranty for a part that isn’t even due? 🛑
I am the original owner of a 2016 #KiaOptima. My engine failed & was towed to Dublin Kia on Feb 17. For 39 days, I’ve been without a car while fighting a "neglect" claim that.
The Warning Signs: I proactively brought this car in for an Oil Consumption Test at 84k miles. Kia knew about the issue a year ago. Now, they want $6,800 for a repair covered by the Theta II Settlement & my 100k warranty.
Hey @Kia @KiaAmerica—is this how you treat loyal owners?
The "Neglect" Claim vs. The Facts:
❌ Dealer says: "Neglected spark plugs."
✅ The Truth: Kia’s own maintenance chart says plugs aren’t due until 105,000 miles. I’m at 97,229 miles. How can I "neglect" a part that isn't due for 8,000+ more miles?
