When you have faced rejection a lot of times you inadvertently start internalising the idea that no one is going to choose you back. All you can do is hopebait yourself into thinking that at the right moment and the right time the right person is not gonna let you go anywhere.
That fact that you can’t even afford a simple treat or buy yourself something nice without feeling like you’re making a terrible financial decision is so annoying, and this is despite working a 9-5, 40 hours a week.
Occasionally you meet one who is the greatest of all, the one who feels like home, made of the same stuff, but if they don’t want to be locked down there is nothing to be done but let them go and hope that miraculously there is another coming someday. Alignment is so rare.
no the worst part is when you’ve appropriately shrunk yourself w/ someone, just for them to say “no it’s fine, talk to me. tell me how you feel. share with me, i’m safe”
you finally open up and they just turn around and stonewall when you express any emotion. like oh ok
Seeing younger ppl say they’re gonna watch Grey’s for the first time now and I have chills, I’m so jealous and excited for them. The ride they are about to experience, it’s everything.
I bet they will stop doing this soon. They’ve literally just given you a precise recipe. Any sensible person will look at this and decide to just make it themselves whenever they need it
When a man likes you he talks to you everyday and apparently when you start to like him back he is very busy and can't talk at all. That's how it works.
