Leicester Medics 2 - 1 Ammies
Similar story for the first team the last couple of weeks. Dominated the play for a lot of the game but too many missed chances costing us.
Cal Davies with the goal
Man of the match - Jake Lister 🌟
Reserves 2 - 2 Sutton Bonnington res.
The reserves bringing in the clubs first points for a few weeks with a 2-2 draw to Sutton Bonnington Reserves. After going 2 down they battled well to get back level and had more than enough chances to run away with the game.
We would like to thank Foxy for all of his hard work on match days and also behind the scenes over the last couple of years.
Good luck to both sets of new management teams ⚽️

Ammies 3-1 Glenfield
FINALLY! First team get their first goals, points and win of the season! Bit of a revamp of the squad calling up a few of the reserves players and also a couple of ‘Amateurs Legends helped get the first teams first victory of the season 🍊⚫️
Kibworth 2 - 2 Ressies
(4-5 pens)
MASSIVE day for the ressies! Going through to the next round of the county cup. After going 2-0 down they dug in deep to get the goals back to take it to penalties.

The Reserves narrowly lost 2-1 at home to AFC North Kilworth Reserves.
After going 1-0 up through a Ryan Peacock penalty they couldn’t see out the result.
Man of the match - Cal Davies
The Reserves managed to grind out a really hard fought 2-1 win yesterday against a solid Mountsorrel side who put pressure on the lads for the whole game.
Both goals coming from Ryan Peacock, with the assists going to Ethan Lofthouse and also 16 year old Cameron Green(MOTM)
Disappointing result for the Firsts again yesterday as they lose 5-0 at home to Whetstone Athletic.
A slightly improved performance from the lads with a couple of positive things to build on but they go onto next weeks game still searching for their first points of the season.
Both teams looking to come away with better results this Saturday!
The First team are away to Lutterworth Athletic Reserves while the Reserves host Old Aylestone Reserves down at Little Haw Lane.

SHEPSHED AMATEURS RES. 1-3 CK DONS
After the reserves taking the lead just before half time, a disappointing final 20 minutes saw the visitors score 3 goals to take the points. Some positive things on show today but in the end the quality of the opposition got them over the line
MIDLAND FC 9-0 SHEPSHED AMATEURS
The less said about the first team result today the better. Not the start we’d hoped for after so much hard work throughout pre season. Only thing to do now is look to next week to put it right.
This Saturday sees the return of league action! After a good pre season for both sides, it’s time to put all the hard work into action!
The first team are away to @fc1_midland while the reserves host @CKDonsFC in what looks to be tough openers for both sides

Yesterday saw the return of the annual Ammies golf day sponsored by Smithers Purslow
As always the event was a huge success and we can’t thank all those that took part and sponsored holes enough. This is a massive day for the club in helping to keep us going for another year🏌️♂️⚽️
Massive thank you to our two main sponsors from yesterday's golf day @SmithersPurlosw and @HorseShepshed. The prizes and top class food, made for a hugely successful day.
