Big issue with #Peddi is that it does a disservice to its own core story. It had potential to be a decent watch, but director paithyam is visible in too many scenes. I wanted to take it seriously, yet several moments felt unintentionally comical rather than honest and grounded.

For example, the scene where he goes to a production house for food, first he insists, then when they start serving he says no and puts food on his plate himself. Imagine Naveen Polishetty doing that scene, it might have worked. With Vishwak Sen, it felt flat and not funny.
