@dhcu_ficfest Each time I encouraged him to release it when he felt comfortable with it. I’m a librarian & book reviewer with early access to new books so we talked about that and he did tell me about what publisher it was with so I could keep an eye out so that (to me) does offer some hope

@dhcu_ficfest I don’t just think about it, I’ve asked David about it in person in ‘23 & this past August. Both times he told me that it was “nearly completed” but that he was hesitant to release it in the current “sound bite” driven entertainment and political climate. I definitely see that.

@bradpackbooks Bruce Benedict, I met him at a Braves/Jays spring training game. he was very patient of my many requests. I still remember where I was when I found out that Bruce had retired. I was reading the sports page before the start of one of my classes at the university of South Florida.
