Superintendents, whether school is in person or online, focus on staff morale. The adjustments/transitions over the past few months & now this fall are incredible. And don’t just focus on morale but their mental & emotional health too. Teachers need to feel safe and supported.

No one student should be allowed to disrupt the learning of the rest of the class or assembly. However, before you kick that kid out of class, make sure you have prepared yourself to be your best. Sometimes, disruptions can be prevented by excellent preparation. Sometimes.
@ManuelScott Being my best is a crazy daily recipe ... teaspoon of creativity, two rounded tablespoons of energy, leveled cup of patience, and a heap of prayer. When my pantry shelf is bare, I still have to shake and bake, so I borrow an ingredient or two from my neighbor!

Since I have 4 classes name plates are not an option... however, I like to give my kiddos a letter, one per person at a table (ABCD) for when we do discussions. This year I figured I’d put everything in one place! Accountable talk stems, Dojo points and their letter 🤓
