Mason's article reminded me of my mother. She was accepted in the nursing program at Providence Hospital. I remember her smiling at the instructors/administrator's astonishment when five young kids showed up at her graduation. Now I understand why. This was 50+ years ago. #edl763

#EDL681..A bad learning experience was a political science class where the instructor talked for three hours. I set in the first row and felled asleep. When I woke up, I was embarrassed, but blamed him. Now I am considering what impact it may have had on the instructor.

#EDL 681..A good learning experience was my first graduate accounting course. It allowed students to drop the class and enroll in a refresher course after the first exam. I struggled to get a B+ on the exam. I took the refresher class and learned the value of a solid foundation.
