First they say keep same account and card active till refund make an affidavit and then after we follow the process another email with notification says make another affidavit with alternate bank details ….how harsh and irresponsible authorities can be…fighting for our ownmoney
We respectfully demand:
1️⃣ Official public clarification
2️⃣ Transparent refund status portal
3️⃣ Defined timeline for refund
Asking for my own hard earned money and that too from a government institution is not justified.
Pls look into it. Help. Thank you @DghsIndia
1) Why was the refund mechanism not institutionalised before collecting crores?
2) Why are all email responses generic without case-specific review?
3) Kindly clarify whether interest will be paid for prolonged retention of candidate funds.
This is not just delay. This is financial harassment of young doctors. Keeping ~₹60 crore (approx collective amount) blocked without clarity is unacceptable.
We deserve transparency and a clear refund timeline.
Doctors shouldn’t have to fight for their own money.
This list has names of almost 3000 candidates. 2 lac rupees held for each candidate. We make the affidavit for the same and email them to which we get generic replies. Many students have gone to the extent of making 3-4 affidavits to which they have received the same reply.
I paid 2,00,000 deposit on 15th may 2025 to MCC i.e official conducting body for neet ss counselling. Cut short to jan 2026 we were not refunded our security deposit. This is 7 months of delay already. No clarification or communication.
In january, mcc releases this-
A story of how you are harassed for your own hard earned money
NEET SS 2025 counselling was conducted in 2025 and we were asked to pay 2,00,000 rupees security deposit for the same. Normally this is returned withing 1-2 months of counselling once admissions are done.
Update on #NEETSS 3rd round #counselling : MCC has been apprised of eligibility & cutoff concerns and is discussing the timeline, which may be revised soon.
We’re in touch with authorities for a candidate‑centric, legally sound resolution.
@NMC_BHARAT@DghsIndia@MoHFW_INDIA
How can you penalise deserving candidates for leaving one top govt institute and taking in another ?
@JPNadda you brought in NEET to streamline medical admissions . NEET should work in conjunction with INIs ,not against !
We all appreciate your work for INIs - help ! @NMC_IND
Movies reflect reality. Such arrogance is not fiction. Out of all the great academics->Coveted job routes. Doctors have the most exposure to the politicians. Overworked, underpaid & often humiliated like this. Need a public apology Goa Health Minister
https://t.co/vHpDASsYWm
In India, doctor bashing is a political sport because doctors are considered "rich looters" since the public feel that increasing general consultation fees by 100 rupees is catastrophic...
...when this so-called health minister arrived in a ₹10000000 Range Rover along with the media to fire the CMO of a public hospital...
...all because the senior doctor who I was told is a gentleman and highly efficient, asked a patient to get a vitamin B12 injection from the outpatient day care service and not emergency services because a vitamin B12 injection was never an emergency.
If there is a species that can be considered scum of the universe, it's politicians of India who dehumanise doctors in front of the public for optics. And the joke is on us because we elect these buffoons to serve us.
All big-mouthed Netas and Babus, kindly take note.
Please find better ways of gaining fame—doctors are no longer in the mood to be your punching bag for earning brownie points.
If you get the idea of raiding a hospital with your social media team, think twice—it’s likely to backfire now.
Our entrance exams basically test the fund of knowledge of students. The more content one has memorized, the better the results in exams like NEETPG, FMGE, and INICET.
With the advent of AI—and in fact, even prior to it—we can access a lot more information than any human can even memorize. So what's the point of these exams?
We are testing skills that are not really necessary today.
Reforms are the need of the hour.
1. You didn't go there to "defend a helpless patient", but with a camera for your PR stunt
2. No one is pointing out the corrective action, but your boorish behaviour in implementing that
3. If your behaviour is left unaddressed, we send a message that it is acceptable to barge into a hospital with a camera and threaten the doctor
