DAY 6: WHAT PEOPLE THINK VS THE REALITY💯
Many think they need like hundred of thousands of Naira to gift your loved ones on their special day but in truth your intentions is what really counts plus the essence of the gift. With as low as 5k you can gift
I spent ₦80,000 to sew a suit for my friend's wedding, and he replaced me with his other friends who had just returned from the UK.
We had been planning the wedding together for months. I followed him around the market to buy things, helped him book the MC and the DJ, and assisted with several other preparations.
Then, a day before the wedding, he called me and said I shouldn't be among the groomsmen anymore. Instead, he wanted me to help look after the drinks during the event.
I had spent ₦80,000 on a suit simply because he was my good friend. And now he's dropping me, probably because the other guys are richer.
I didn't argue with him. I ended the call and never attended the wedding.
In any way that man has disqualified you, God's mercy will qualify you for divine favour and elevation. Where you have no voice. Your matter has been settled at the throne of grace and mercy. There will be manifestation of testimonies in your life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
As I write this, I know many of us are tired.
Tired of the hustle.
Tired of the disappointments.
Tired of watching our dreams stand at a distance that seems impossible to reach.
Life has a way of testing us in silence.
Some of us have lost the respect of people we once called friends and family not because we became bad people, but because the giving stopped.
The calls became fewer. The messages became colder. The invitations disappeared.
It hurts when you realize that some loyalty was tied to benefits, and some love was attached to what you could provide.
There are days when even opening our messages feels heavy because deep down we know what is waiting on the other side. Not greetings. Not concern. Just another request. Another expectation. Another reminder of what we currently cannot do.
But listen carefully,
It happens to the best of us.
Mention any truly successful person, and behind their glory you will find rejection.
You will find mockery.
You will find betrayal.
You will find doors slammed in their faces.
You will find seasons where nobody believed in them.
The stories we celebrate today were once chapters of pain that almost broke them.
So if life feels unfair right now, you are not alone.
The tears you hide, God sees them.
The prayers you whisper, God hears them.
The battles you fight in silence, God understands them.
Do not allow a difficult season to convince you that your story has ended.
Sometimes the darkest nights are not signs of defeat; they are necessary preparations for a brighter morning.
What feels like delay today may be God's way of building the strength, wisdom, and character you will need tomorrow.
So don't give up.
Not now.
Not after everything you have survived.
Keep moving, even if the steps are small.
Keep believing, even when the evidence is scarce.
Keep praying, even when heaven seems quiet.
Because the God you serve is still saying something.
And one day, the pain that almost made you quit will become the testimony that inspires others to keep going.
These struggles are not the end of your story.
They are necessary conditions for a better tomorrow.
Good morning amazing people
Because you trust in the Lord and acknowledge His name, may He set you on high above every limitation and struggle.
May He answer you whenever you call upon Him, be with you in every challenge, and make every crooked path straight.
May the Lord honour the work of your hands, bless your perfume business with increase, favour, loyal customers, and abundant sales.
May He satisfy you with success, peace, good health, and long life, and may you continually see His goodness and salvation in all that concerns you.
Amen 🙏🏾
"The crowd may overlook you. Friends may leave. Opportunities may delay.
Yet none of these things determine your destiny. The oak does not ask the storm for approval. The mountain does not seek permission to stand.
Greatness is built in private long before it is revealed in public.
When doubt appears, return to your purpose. When fear speaks, answer with action. When loneliness arrives, remember that every great builder, leader, inventor, and pioneer spent seasons walking a road few understood."
Good morning, great people.☺️🫂🫂
Can I tell you one thing I've discovered in my walk with the Holy Spirit?
Beyond being a guide, the Holy Spirit is the greatest conversation partner you'll ever have.
In short, there is no gist partner like the Holy Spirit.
The day you grow to the point where He comes to you for a chat, demands your attention, or interrupts your day because He wants fellowship with you, YOU HAVE WON FOR LIFE.
Because beyond power, beyond gifts, beyond breakthroughs, nothing compares to being wanted by God Himself.
I say this to you: You must establish your power within. Only then will you rise like the oak, steady and unmoved by passing storms.
Good morning, great people. How are we doing?😊🫂🫂
The fire is not here to consume you. It is here to refine you.
Thirty days, sixty days or ninety days from now, if you refuse to quit, refuse to complain, and refuse to surrender, you will not be the same person.
Trust the process. Trust the struggle. Trust God.
Your greatest chapter is still ahead of you.
"Do not reach for voices outside of you. Do not begin your day with complaint, fear, or doubt. Speak only of vision. Declare your aim.
Command your own mind before the world attempts to command it for you.
Refuse to speak lack. Refuse to rehearse pain. Speak vision. Declare your aim.
This is not wishful thinking. This is discipline. This is the law of growth.
You must train yourself to act as though you were already the man you are becoming. Speak as a man who knows his value. Walk as a man who fears no isolation. Think as one who is being prepared for a responsibility greater than himself".
How is your day going?
"The world will mock your pain, overlook your discipline, and confuse your silence with defeat. But life does not reward noise. It rewards obedience.
And the first law of power is this:
Struggle is not punishment. Struggle is preparation.
It is the furnace where identity is forged. You do not become great in times of ease. You are made in the hidden seasons, when no one sees, when no one claps, and when no one believes.
That is where strength is built. That is where your voice begins to rise. That is where your purpose comes alive".
Good morning my people.😊🫂🫂
I can actually answer this one from experience 😂😂
My mum used to be an Alága as a side hustle long before I was born, and she continued until 2010 when my dad passed away.
Throughout my secondary school years, I was her talking drummer at many of the ceremonies she anchored 😂. I was attending engagement ceremonies almost every weekend, I’ve probably been to more than 25 traditional weddings 😂😂
Alága Ìdúró represents the groom’s family; the side that comes to ask for the bride’s hand in marriage. Symbolically, they are the party “standing” to make a request.
Alága Ìjókòó represents the bride’s family; the side receiving the proposal and considering the request. Symbolically, they are the party “seated” in authority to accept or reject it.
So the “standing” and “sitting” are more about the traditional roles of the two families during the engagement process than whether the Alága is physically standing or sitting. 😄
@ndukaomeife It's quite disheartening.
Like I literally slept with anger and bitterness towards this government.
My question is even if they are released those children/ teacher they can't function properly in the society without the support of a psychologist 💔
For those who have asking about me, I am here, I haven’t been away. I have been reading everything going on and unhappy.
I am just weak, very weak. As a father, and a concerned Nigerian citizen, everything happening in my country is very disheartening. I am very sad. 😩😭😭
