🇵🇰 Functional & Independent Institutions in Pakistan

Pakistan is a state where institutions are functioning within their respective spheres and according to the law.

The PMDC issued its notification in accordance with its regulations, requiring foreign students to be registered with PMDC for medical and dental studies in Pakistan.

The Lahore High Court, acting on a petition within its legal jurisdiction, independently reviewed the matter and suspended not cancelled the PMDC notification, while giving due consideration to the right to education.

This reflects a functioning state where institutions exercise their respective powers, follow legal processes, and uphold citizens’ rights. 🇵🇰👍

پاکستان کو بڑے صوبوں کی نہیں، عوام کے قریب حکومت کی ضرورت ہے۔
ذرا سوچیں، پاکستان کے کسی دور دراز علاقے میں رہنے والا شہری اپنے معمولی کام کے لیے سینکڑوں کلومیٹر سفر کرے، علاج کے لیے بڑے شہر کا رخ کرے، یونیورسٹی کے لیے گھر چھوڑے اور روزگار کے لیے اپنا علاقہ۔
تو کیا پاکستان کے عوام کو ایسی ہی مشکلات کے ساتھ زندگی گزارنی چاہیے؟

پنجاب میں شرح خواندگی 66.3 فیصد ہے، جبکہ بلوچستان میں یہ صرف 40.2 فیصد ہے۔ سندھ میں تقریباً 78 لاکھ بچے اسکول سے باہر ہیں۔ صحت کی سہولیات میں بھی واضح فرق موجود ہے، سندھ میں ہر 10 لاکھ افراد کے لیے تقریباً 8.5 ہسپتال کی شرح سامنے آتی ہے۔ یہ صرف اعداد نہیں، پاکستان کے لاکھوں لوگوں کی زندگیوں کی کہانی ہے۔

پاکستان کو اگر واقعی ترقی یافتہ اور مضبوط ملک بنانا ہے تو ترقی صرف لاہور، کراچی، پشاو�� یا چند بڑے شہروں تک محدود نہیں رہ سکتی۔ پاکستان کے ہر علاقے کو تعلیم، صحت، روزگار، صنعت اور بنیادی سہولیات میں برابر کا حق ملنا چاہیے۔

اسی لیے نئے صوبوں کی بحث کو صرف سیاست کی نظر سے دیکھنا غلط ہوگا۔ چھوٹے اور بااختیار صوبے بنیں تو ہر صوبے میں ٹیچنگ ہسپتال، یونیورسٹی اور خصوصی اقتصادی زون قائم کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔ مقامی صنعت بڑھے، نوجوانوں کو روزگار ملے، سرمایہ کاری آئے اور فیصلے اسلام آباد یا صوبائی دارالحکومتوں کے بجائے عوام کے قریب ہوں۔
پاکستان کی طاقت صرف اس کے بڑے شہروں میں نہیں، اس کے ہر گاؤں، ہر ضلع اور ہر نوجوان میں ہے۔
نئے صوبوں کا مقصد پاکستان کو تقسیم کرنا نہیں، بلکہ پاکستان کی ترقی کو تقسیم کرکے ہر علاقے تک پہنچانا ہونا چاہیے۔ وسائل کی منصفانہ تقسیم، بہتر انتظامیہ اور مقامی نمائندگی سے احساسِ محرومی کم کیا جا سکتا ہے اور پاکستان کو زیادہ مضبوط بنایا جا سکتا ہے۔

یقیناً نئے صوبے بنانا آسان کام نہیں۔ آئینی طریقہ کار، مالی وسائل، پانی، گیس�� بجلی اور دیگر وسائل کی تقسیم جیسے معاملات کو سوچ سمجھ کر حل کرنا ہوگا۔ لیکن مشکل ہونے کی وجہ سے پاکستان اپنے مستقبل کی ضروری اصلاحات سے ہمیشہ پیچھے نہیں ہٹ سکتا۔

پاکستان کو ایسے نظام کی ضرورت ہے جہاں شہری حکومت کے دروازے تک نہ بھٹکے، بلکہ حکومت شہری کی دہلیز تک پہنچے۔
وقت آ گیا ہے کہ پاکستان میں نئے صوبوں کی بحث کو سیاسی نعروں سے نکال کر قومی ضرورت، عوامی سہولت اور بہتر مستقبل کے زاویے سے دیکھا جائے۔

نئے صوبے پاکستان کو کمزور کرنے کے لیے نہیں، پاکستان کے ہر حصے کو مضبوط کرنے کے لیے ہونے چاہییں۔ یہی مضبوط علاقے مل کر مضبوط پاکستان بنائیں گے۔

This is not surprising, Islamabad has said for years that the Afghan Taliban give TTP sanctuary, movement and political cover on Afghan soil.

UN monitoring reports have recorded thousands of TTP fighters and families inside Afghanistan and continued Taliban support. The result has been a surge in attacks on Pakistani soldiers and civilians.

A senior TTA official appearing alongside them so soon after his appointment is the picture Pakistan has been describing. Denials from Kabul do not change the pattern or the cost paid on this side of the border.
