🇷🇼Rwanda goes nuclear with 🇷🇺Russia!
⚛️Russia & Rwanda have signed a roadmap to develop a small modular nuclear reactor project.
Compact yet powerful, such reactors offer cleaner, scalable energy while occupying a fraction of the footprint of conventional NPP.

“Do we really accept that, as black people, we are somehow less human and inferior?
Accepting it is not simply a matter of saying “yes.” No one will ask you that question directly. You can even say “no,” but if you behave in the very ways that brought us to the kind of history we have lived through, then, in reality, you have accepted it. You have diminished yourself. And your actions become the evidence. The evidence is in doing the very things that others did, or in trying to justify them with explanations that should never be accepted.
There are no two ways about it. Good politics and a good ideology produce positive outcomes. Bad outcomes come from bad ideas. You do not need any other evidence.
Many of you are still young. You go abroad to study. Under normal circumstances, there is nothing they know that you cannot also learn. But you can come back having absorbed ideas without questions, ideas that take you away from who you are and try to turn you into something else, something that is not yours.
Whether those ideas are good or bad, there is one illness I do not think we will cure anytime soon: when, in your own mind, you stop being yourself and begin wishing you were somebody else. Why would you want to become someone else? To achieve what? In our own history, with everything we have been through, that is exactly how we lost our way.
And then you wait for someone from outside to tell you, “This is wrong,” and you immediately agree, without realizing that what is being condemned is you. It is about stripping you of your identity, and you willingly accepting it.” President Kagame | Unity Club Meeting.

GHANA INAUGURATED GENOCIDE AGAINST TUTSI IN RWANDA MEMORIAL
Ghana has unveiled two distinct genocide memorial monuments that highlight both remembrance and sacrifice. The first honors victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to “Never Again” and historical justice.
The second memorial is dedicated to the Ghanaian UN peacekeeping contingent that remained in Rwanda despite evacuation orders from the UN as other contingents withdrew. It commemorates soldiers who stayed behind, some of whom lost their lives while attempting to protect civilians during the genocide.
Together, the two monuments reflect both victim remembrance and recognition of peacekeeper bravery and sacrifice as well as Pan-African solidarity. #Kwibuka32 #FactsOnRwanda
"This is an important visit that is aimed at normalising our relations[...] we had challenges in our past but there were engagements at the highest level between the two heads of states and we had agreed since last year that we will have this ministerial visit in Pretoria to discuss the challenges on how to normalise our relations"
Minister @onduhungirehe talks about his visit to the Republic of South Africa in an interview with @SABCNews

The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Army Chief of Staff, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi, held a bilateral meeting with his French counterpart, Gen Pierre Schill, Chief of Staff of the French Army, on the sidelines of Eurosatory 2026, the international land, air defence and security exhibition in Paris.
The bilateral discussions focused on deepening military cooperation and reinforcing the strategic partnership between the armies of both countries.

Thank you, my brother Ronald, for the warm hospitality and the constructive discussion we had today in Pretoria, aimed at normalising Rwanda-South Africa relations and exchanging views on the security situation on our continent.
We are particularly pleased with the concrete outcomes of our meeting, mainly the resumption of visas for Rwandan nationals within twelve months and the relaunching of the Joint Commission on Cooperation, to be convened at the first quarter of 2027 in Kigali.
We express our gratitude to our respective Heads of State, H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa and H.E. Paul Kagame, for initiating this process, which will benefit our two peoples and the African continent as a whole.
