Forest fires are a good thing and I’m tired of the right saying they aren’t. The only reason this one is so bad is because the Canadians stopped them for 100 years, allowing fuel to build up.

@SteveSkojec I went through nearly life ending grief over the sudden death of my mother in my early 20’s, with guilts you only know if you go through it. A way I see her as “in Heaven” is that I take her positive attributes and live them out. It balances the guilt of leaving her behind.

@SteveSkojec I brought up a similar topic with a friend about arguing with them, having them look for counterexamples, etc.. and his response was, “That’s because you live in reality. Nobody else lives in reality.” I know it’s true but I don’t know how to accept that.
