An Open Letter to @jarrenglorious

“Hi, hello, you've been running circles in my head.” Sound familiar? Yes, it’s from Breaking News by Flowerovlove. Let me begin with this. When you were inside BNK, your JL supporters thought of you and Kolette constantly just like what the lyrics said. We planned, we strategized, and we dreamt of seeing both of you in the Big 4. We even created something special for you, a Moonstring edited version of your Rock with You dance, set to your bestfriend's song. And guess what? It trended worldwide. We were beyond excited, looking forward to the day we’d see you both dancing to the Jarlette DC together. It was our gift to you.

“If it's okay with you (with you)
I think I am gonna love you for a long time.”

That line spoke for us. We believed we would love and support you for a long time. But lately, it feels like it’s not okay with you.

Since you left BNK, many Moonstrings have felt hurt. When the JL admin asked us to behave and not flood your live streams, we respected that. When the MOA Globe event happened, we heard you were there but couldn’t show up for safety reasons. We understood. You posted a general thank you message to all your ships, and again, we understood, you wanted to keep things equal.

But then things shifted. After PBB, it stopped feeling equal. Fan service happened with other ships, but not with Jarlette. The Jarlette DC, a dance edited with love and perseverance, was never acknowledged. We thought, maybe it’s management holding you back, insisting on balance.

Days passed, and we felt our support, love, and efforts were being ignored. No recognition, no acknowledgment. Jarren, why? Are we invisible? We felt disrespected and neglected, yet we continued to support you through nominations and fan projects and going out to your shows.

We’ve been loud and proud in our support, and all we’ve ever asked for is a little acknowledgment. We’ve been with you since day one, never wavering. But yesterday’s live stream was the breaking point. Three people asked you to say “Hi” to Jarlette supporters, it would’ve taken seconds. But you refused, saying you were busy. Another moment of dismissal, another disappointment.

That moment snapped the red string we’ve been holding onto for so long. We wanted to love you for a long time, but you’ve made it clear, we’re not allowed. Maybe we chose the wrong song for Jarlette after all.

Breaking News - we were never meant to stay because you didn't allow us.
