CXCR4 coordinates adhesion, migration, and development of human NK cells
What controls when developing NK cells move 🟢 and when they stop 🛑?

Excited to see where this goes next 🎉
I’m especially grateful for @mace_em’s mentorship and support and to @HegewischSolloa, our coauthors and collaborators, the donors and patients, and the communities at @CSCIColumbia, @ColumbiaGenDev, and @KidsAtColumbia.

📣 Our data suggest that CXCR4 doesn't just tell NK cells where to go—it regulates how they interact with their environment once there.
Next questions: how is this stop–go balance tuned, what are the downstream signals, and how do they shape NK cell development and function?
So proud to be a small part of this massive endeavor. Congrats @HegewischSolloa, @janine_melsen, @mace_em, and everyone else! What an incredible resource this will be to the field!
Excited to share that we have preprinted our work on defining the spatial localization of human NK cell developmental subsets in pediatric tonsil! Also check out our poster and talk at NK2023! @mace_em @ShiraEisman@MundyBosse@AmirHorowitz@janine_melsen https://t.co/73m7iJniBy
