As we reflect on this year's theme, "From Access to Monitoring: 25 Years Forward for Every CML Patient," we're reminded that progress is more than medicine. It's about access to treatment, monitoring, information, support, and community.
No patient should walk this journey alone

No patient should walk this journey alone
In Mumbai, patients attending the weekly CML Clinic at Tata Memorial Hospital observed World CML Day through patient counselling, an educational session by Dr. Alok Shetty, and a cake-cutting ceremony celebrating strength, resilience, and hope.
But our work is not over yet...
Because every patient deserves not only access to treatment, but also the knowledge, support, and hope needed to thrive.
Progress only matters when every patient can benefit from it.

As we mark World CML Day, we celebrate more than medical progress. We celebrate the resilience of patients, the unwavering support of caregivers, and the dedication of healthcare teams who walk this journey alongside them. @BeenaNarayanan@vijivenkatesh
Over the past 25 years, access to treatment and regular monitoring have helped transform CML from a life-limiting diagnosis into a condition that many people can successfully manage and live well with.

As we celebrate 25 years of progress in CML care, we are reminded that access goes beyond treatment. It is also about information, monitoring, support and community.
On MPN Awareness Day, Sanjay's story reminds us that support extends far beyond treatment. Awareness, education, and the strength of a community can empower people to face the future with confidence and hope. Sometimes, knowing you're not alone can make all the difference.
As Sanjay reflects,
"Every bird may be wounded, but the hope to fly remains. The Max Foundation strives to give MPN patients the hope to spread their wings and fly again."
On MPN Awareness Day, Sanjay's story reminds us that support extends far beyond treatment. #PatientVoices
Listening to others who shared similar challenges helped him realize that he was not alone. What once felt overwhelming became easier to navigate with the support of a community that truly understood his journey. #Community#Awareness
Finding Strength In Community
A retired Railways officer from Maharashtra, Sanjay Mokal found more than information through The Max Foundation MPN Support Group Meetings. He found connection, understanding, and hope. #MPNAwarenessDay#Hope#StrengthInCommunity
@vijivenkatesh I've had many cloths labelled "someday". But I recently gave them all away to charity, because I apparently am enjoying eating unhealthy 🤭
(Secretly, I still keep a couple of pairs hidden away at the bottom of my cupboard...😉 haha)
