@h3okumoooyc02 My country didn't wait until 2023 to raise national statutory consent to 16, nor did it legalize CSAM possession until 2014. Relying on weak local ordinances with massive loopholes while the federal penal code stayed at 13 for 116 years is pure negligence.

@mico332 Don't deflect with the 9-year-old thing. Penal Code 177 keeping consent at 13 until 2023 and CSAM possession being delayed until 2014 is purely a domestic Japanese issue. Foreigners aside, admit your own laws failed your kids for decades and still is although not as much.
