After finally watching Doom Patrol, I'd like to formally and publicly apologize for my past badmouthing of Brendan Fraser's acting career and abilities. His shitty father character is the one I most identify with in the series and I respect that.
Greenland (2020) straight up gave me anxiety to watch. Was expecting a silly 2012-style movie but it gave a pretty good sense of dread. Mostly because I fucking hated the piece of shit kid who almost got them killed like 3 times, but whatever. 7/10.
Ok The Mummy (2017) wasn't THAT bad! Alright so some stuff was pretty shite like the acting, casting, fight choreography, cinematography, music score, dialogue, storyline, subplots, directing, plot pacing, film length, climax, ending, lack of 'twists', and the tone consistency.
Like I'm pretty sure that half of my favorite sketches of all time are from this show. Also there are technically like 2 or 3 sci fi-related sketches if you think this is off-topic. Rating: 8/10.
Holy shit, A Black Lady Sketch Show is so fucking good. Literally everything about the show is great. I put it on par with I Think You Should Leave and The Eric Andre Show for my favorite sketch comedies. I will pray for human extinction if this shit doesn't get to five seasons.
@ToxiccOni @daitomodachi6 It's pretty true. The Amber in the comics is a pretty level headed girl. I didn't experience any of the frustration towards her that I have in the show.
they were child actors. NOPE they just have the charisma and acting chops of those little shitheads in the newer Jurassic Park movies. I need to watch a trashy alien movie to get the taste out of my fuggin brain. God that main kid is the worst. Rating this one a 3/10.
Tried watching The Rain (2018-2020) and OH MY ASS what a piece of shit show. The entire show seems to consist of the characters giving eachother serious expressions while out of breath. I had to look up their ages because their acting was so disturbingly amateur that I thought
