కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం హనుమకొండలో నిరంజన్ ఇంటికి వెళ్లి కలిసిన ఆ క్షణాలు ఇంకా నా మదిలో సజీవంగానే ఉన్నాయి. తీవ్రమైన అనారోగ్యంతో పోరాడుతూనే నా కోసం ఎదు��ుచూసిన ఆ చిన్నారి… నన్ను చూడగానే అతని ముఖంపై విరిసిన ఆ చిరునవ్వు… ఇవన్నీ ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేని జ్ఞాపకాలుగా నిలిచిపోతాయి.

అతని శరీరం వ్యాధితో పోరాడినా, అతని మనసు మాత్రం అపారమైన ధైర్యంతో నిలిచింది. అంతటి బాధను అనుభవిస్తూ కూడా జీవితం పట్ల అతను చూపిన ఆశ, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం ఎంతో విలువైనవి. అలాంటి ధైర్యవంతుడైన చిన్నారి ఇంత త్వరగా మనల్ని విడిచి వెళ్లిపోవడం ఎంతో బాధాకరం.

నిరంజన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతిని తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. తీరని దుఃఖాన్ని భరించే శక్తిని భగవంతుడు వారికి ప్రసాదించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

ప్రియమైన నిరంజన్… నువ్వు చూపించిన చిరునవ్వు, ధైర్యం, నువ్వు పంచిన ప్రేమ నా హృదయంలో ఎప్పటికీ నిలిచిపోతాయి. నీ ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుడిని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.
