Unpopular opinion: Frontend refactoring in big React codebases is stressful solely because no one actually knows what 5 other pages break when you tweak a base <Button/> component.
How do you guys ensure you don't break shared design system components before pushing?
Rippledit v0.4.0 - within large repos of code files, in each file it tells you what lines in what other files exactly a modification in ANY PARTICULAR COMPONENT will affect. PLEASE SHARE - I feel this would be REVOLUTIONARY TO MANY - especially frontend developers using node.js, react, javascript, ...
These types of messages appear above small blocks of code - if you hover over them you can see exactly what files & what lines in them a modification in this particular block will affect. Maybe I should make this an API - that way Copilot, Cursor, ... can use Rippledit's info to guide their process - because they sometimes end up making unwanted changes??? What are your thoughts??
