In the entire Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur areas of Punjab, where Dogri language or its dialects are spoken, the Punjab government should also recognize Dogri language as the state language.

#Purthu in Basholi deserves to be on J&K's tourism map, not ignored like an after thought.

Visited this so called #MiniGoA yesterday. Ppl wr cmng from Uttrakhand, Himachal & Punjab, even a couple was there for a pre-wedding photoshoot. The attraction is real.

But what's missing? Basic infrastructure, No proper road, no signboards, no facilities, no serious promotion.

If a place can attract tourists despite having nothing, imagine what it could become with proper sanitation, safety, viewpoints and promotion.

Basholi has the beauty. Purthu has the potential. What it lacks is attention.

Don't let another hidden gem remain hidden because of official neglect.
