Arab stories are filled with worlds waiting to move from page to screen.

The Book2Screen Challenge at SACC 2026 invites participants to transform a story into an engaging visual trailer.
Participants will choose from a selection of pre-selected titles by Arab publishers. The selected book will be provided in PDF format, giving each participant the source material needed to develop their own creative interpretation and bring the story to life.

An expert jury will evaluate the final submissions, and the strongest entries will be selected as the winners.
Submissions are open until 1 October.

Winners will be announced at SACC 2026.

تمتلئ قصصنا العربية بعوالم تنتظر أن تنتقل من الصفحة إلى الشاشة.

يدعو تحدي «من الكتاب إلى الشاشة» ضمن مؤتمر الشارقة للرسوم المتحركة والقصص المصوّرة 2026 المشاركين إلى تحويل قصة إلى فيديو ترويجي بصري مشوّق.
سيختار المشاركون عنواناً من مجموعة كتب منتقاة مسبقاً لدور نشر عربية، وسيتم تزويدهم بالكتاب المختار بصيغة PDF، ليكون المصدر الذي يستندون إليه في تطوير رؤيتهم الإبداعية وإضفاء الحياة على القصة.

ستتولى لجنة تحكيم متخصصة تقييم المشاركات النهائية واختيار أفضل الأعمال للفوز بالتحدي.
يستمر التقديم حتى 1 أكتوبر.
وسيتم الإعلان عن الفائزين خلال مؤتمر الشارقة للرسوم المتحركة والقصص المصوّرة 2026.

Did you know game animation follows a completely different set of rules than traditional animation? Unlike films, where every frame is fixed, video game animation has to respond instantly to every player input, making movement feel natural, responsive, and believable in real time.
From keyframing and skeletal rigs to procedural animation, every technique works together to create worlds that players can interact with.

هل تعلمون أن قواعد التحريك في ألعاب الفيديو تختلف تماماً عن الرسوم المتحركة التقليدية؟
في الأفلام، تكون كل لقطة ثابتة ومدروسة مسبقاً. لكن في الألعاب، يجب أن تستجيب الحركة فوراً لقرارات اللاعب، لتبدو طبيعية، وسريعة، ومقنعة في نفس اللحظة!

Saleem, Jordan’s first 3D animated feature, brought together 75 artists, six years of production, and a pipeline designed around one thing: making every emotion feel real.
The result? 22 international festivals, nine awards, and a milestone for animation from the region.
Here’s a look behind the frames.

فيلم "سليم"، أول فيلم تحريك ثلاثي الأبعاد من الأردن.. عمل عليه 75 فناناً على مدار 6 سنوات، بخطوات إنتاج كان هدفها الأول والأخير: جعل كل شعور في الفيلم حقيقياً وصادقاً.

النتيجة؟ المشاركة في 22 مهرجاناً دولياً، حصد 9 جوائز، وتسجيل إنجاز كبير للرسوم المتحركة في المنطقة.
