@WichitaTransit shuttle service to campus restarts today (Monday, Feb. 1). New this semester is a route that goes to and from the Innovation Campus and Braeburn Square.

📢 Road construction update:

Road repairs will be moving from WuShock Dr to Perimeter Rd, starting by the Heskett tennis court & continuing east past the YMCA. All roads will remain open to traffic in both directions. Work will be completed prior to classes resuming in February.

Repair and construction will begin soon on short sections of Perimeter Road & Mike Oatman Drive. Completion is scheduled before Feb. 1. Traffic will continue to use all roads during construction. Flagmen will direct one-way traffic during work hours.

📢ALERT: green and green/yellow combination parking lots are open and permits will not be required for students until February 1, 2021. Please note that yellow lots, red lots/stalls and the parking garage will still be enforced during this time.

Parking lots 16N & 16S near Duerksen Fine Arts Center will be closed from Tues., May 26 through Fri., May 29 for lot maintenance. It will be OK to drive and park on those lots after they are reopened until overlay occurs at a future date. @WichitaStatePD @WichitaState

Another crosswalk here on campus has been created utilizing thermo-plastic material, this time on Mike Oatman Drive. The material is expected to hold its' vibrancy for 3-5 yrs, thus increasing the visualization of the crosswalk & making WSU safer. @WichitaStatePD @WichitaState

For the rest of the semester, WSU is suspending parking enforcement for lots with green, yellow and green/yellow-striped signage. We'll continue to enforce permits in stalls with red signage, as well as ADA parking, fire lanes and other reserved parking areas. @WichitaState

You can take still take Wichita Transit for free from WSU to both Target and Walmart nearby! The Elliott Hall stop travels towards Walmart. The Duerksen stop travels towards Target.
