Today, I bring to you the gospel of BLENDED EXECUTION by @fluentxyz
Ever thought about each single VM and their strengths and weaknesses
WASM, SVM, EVM
What if we could bring together every VM retaining their strengths and cancelling out their weaknesses
You might ask “CAN BLENDED EXECUTION DO THAT?”
Yes lol, with blended execution you can associate multiple virtual machines, putting their strengths into one place.
Making it easy for devs to select tools from each VM to build dapps however they want to
Let me break it down to simple terms
You attend an event, and it’s time to get served your meal
Then there are 3 stands:
-One is where you’d get your plate
-Another one is where you’d be served your meal
-While the last one is where you’d be given your cutlery
This is called SINGLE EXECUTION
Now imagine setting where you’d get your plate, food and cutlery in one single section without moving elsewhere
That’s BLENDED EXECUTION.
@fluentxyz combines WASM, SVM and EVM for realtime composability between apps from different ecosystems
It’s both EVM and SVM compatible
App Deployment Models
The Fluent L2 will support two types of apps:
• Shared apps
• Dedicated apps
The Fluentbase Framework
Used to deploy smart contracts on the Fluent L2
It is the basis for the Fluent L2 and can used to build:
• Blended apps
• Blended execution networks
• Arbitrary compute environments
Fluentbase also supports integrations to build modular blockchains like Celestia, Avail, etc.
One line from @blendino that stuck with me is “Blended execution make WASM great again”
