Last week our ladies division successfully dealt with a harrowing missing person situation. Bravely and selflessly kept the mental health patient talking and in a safe environment until police arrived who praised their swift calm actions. Also gave support to vulnerable parent.
A big thanks to Prestwich residents for voting to grant us an award at "The Pitch" . Special thanks to Cllr Quinn and colleagues and council staff who arranged today. Congratulations to other successful groups also demonstrating power of community.
Thanks to CST for most informative training on Psychological First Aid attended by 5 members. Looking forward to follow ups. This will be a good resource for some of our service users post-incident @CST_UK
