Because I can’t help myself… I went through all the Mercury losses:

5/10 down 4 going into 4th - lost by 16
5/12 led by 3 at 2:54 remaining - lost by 4
5/19 led by 3 at 8:04 remaining - lost by 8
5/21 - lost by 9 (never really in it)

6/11 up 1 at half - lost by 15
6/13 led by 2 with 13 seconds remaining - lost by 9 in OT
6/17 led by 4 at half, tied at 7:57 remaining - lost by 10

So there have only been 2 games where we truly were never in it. That’s 10 games where we were in it and could/should have won.

@ayabdeen I just don’t get why we are this bad. I think Toliver might make for a better coach but it would’ve felt crazy to make that move after a finals run. But these problems started in the finals and haven’t corrected. And we’re missing a unicorn.
