Tournaments for everyone at JWSL . Theres a weekly ( Saturday) Handicap snooker tournament, a Wednesday evening Pool Flyer tournament. Theres league snooker , soon to include teams from the local @ByfleetLeague . Also coming up is the Bob Mason Open & The inaugural JWSL U21 Open . Jimmy White often plays in the handicap tournaments & will be playing in the Bob Mason Open ( which has a beautiful trophy , pictured here , donated by the Bobs family ) . We're delighted to announce two great tournaments coming up at Jimmy Whites Sports Lounge. On Aug 23rd we have the Bob Mason Open, in memory of Bob Mason (who built Woking Snooker Centre, the club that was there before JWSL) and then on 30th Aug , we have the inaugural JWSL U21 Junior Open.

Yesterday ,Jimmy Whites Sports Lounge hosted the @snookercuestars U21 Invitational. Everyone at JWSL was really excited to welcome Cuestars , and the day was a big success . 40 talented young players where on show and along with wonderfully supportive families friends & coaches turned the venue in to a vibrant buzzin snooker lovers paradise . The final was contested between Vincent Callender & Aston Sahota , and what an enthralling and exciting final it was . Vincent , who's home club is JWSL was the eventual winner after a nail biting final frame .

I was delighted to be asked by John Hunter ( Cuestars Supremo) to ref the final which was as good as match as ive reffed anywhere .

Well done to everyone who took part , to John & his team for the great work they do on the Cuestars tour and in amateur snooker as a whole.

Rare for me , but i just wanted to say something from the heart ... I've worked with Jimmy a fair bit over recent months , assisting him practice ( that's posh for taking the balls out during practice routines ) and reffing private matches for him. Like everyone at JWSL ( Jimmy's new club ) I'm gutted about last night . At 63 , indeed 64 next month , I echo the words of a post I saw on here last night from @CuePowerBlog , "show me another 63 year old that can play as well as he does . He's a class act "

He's got time for everyone, never says no to a selfie , he's a joy to be around and is always happy to give anyone a game . He plays in our handicaps at JWSL giving decent players massive starts , often winning . Pictured here, Jimmy had just played a local postie , Paul , who told me ,he will treasure the experience for ever .. along with his Dad, who proudly watched on.

I've seen at first hand why this man is the people's champion and I for one am hugely proud of our boss , our hero and the legend , Jimmy 'Whirlwind' White. ✨️♥️

Great to see so many players enjoying a nice day at the snooker and of course , always good to watch top amateurs in action such as Wayne Townsend, Dharminder Lilly , Marcos Dayao & Matt Ford to mention just a few . Absolutely fantastic night yesterday at Jimmy Whites Sports Lounge . I was very proud to have been asked by @jimmywhite147 to ref the evening . A packed house saw a great exhibition from a living legend of the game . The club itself has a fantastic vibe , lovely friendly staff & great facilities. I'd recommend a visit to anyone.
