Not sure why everyone is getting so emotional.
It's very simple if you set aside your feelings for a while and think rationally.
Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Cosmetology, Physiotherapy, Clinical Nutrition, Reiki, Energy Healing, Yoga, Acupuncture, and Clinical Pharmacology practitioners are not doctors.
National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians in India, to individual lives and communities in memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, physician and the first Chief Minister of West Bengal.
The above are not Physicians/ Clinical Doctors
That doesn't mean quacks cannot celebrate their practices. They can.
National Ayurveda Day, is observed on 28 October every year in India and worldwide on the occasion of the birthday of Dhanvantari, the Hindu god of medicine. Ayurveda is a pseudoscience and that's why it is celebrated on beliefs and not evidence.
World Homoeopathy Day is observed every year on April 10 to commemorate the birthday of Samuel Hahneman who invented the nonsense.
National Beautician's Day is celebrated on June 26th each year. It's a day to appreciate and acknowledge the work of cosmetologists, stylists, and beauticians. Saloons give free beauty packages during this time.
World Physical Therapy Day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physiotherapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, and independent. This is observed on 8 September.
Now in future anyone wants to celebrate Doctors Day, make sure you are a doctor first. For others, there are specific days where you can celebrate yourself or your family.
Now please stop crying. It's embarrassing.
UPDATE 🚨: The pressure is working!
After an unprecedented wave of outrage and a clear 48-hour ultimatum by the Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD), the Health Minister has called an urgent late-night meeting with GARD council members at 9:30 pm today.
This is what happens when doctors and citizens unite and call out the political drama.
Let’s keep the momentum going:
No compromise on dignity or the rights of every healthcare worker. GARD needs your support to stand up to the political pressure they will try to put on the council members!
We demand:
✅ Immediate revocation of the suspension
✅ Public apology from the Minister
✅ Ban on all VIP video stunts in hospitals
✅ End of VIP culture in emergency care
We’re closely watching and in constant touch with GARD. The whole medical community is watching.
If the demands aren’t met, the strike begins. Healthcare workers are not punching bags for politicians. They should know their limits!
Will update on the proceedings of the meeting once GARD conveys!
If CSK is about process, MI about talent, and KKR about fight, the one word I would use for RCB is loyalty.
Fans are loyal to the stars, stars are loyal to the franchise, and the franchise has been loyal to the city.
Through thick & thin.
Truly, the Loyal Challengers Bangalore.
A general physician Dr Vishal Gabale made a really good video explaining how registered healthcare practitioners performing untrained procedures can lead to the death of patients.
This was in response to a recent news about a Kanpur-based dentist performing hair transplantation on two engineers after which they died. Yes, they died.
https://t.co/jhKqygZpmK
Right after this video was posted, the dentist community on Instagram abused and harassed the hell out of Dr Vishal, after which he was forced to take it down.
This is not the correct way to respond to healthcare education. Dr Vishal Gable put good awareness reel on the issue but sadly dentists ganged up with hate comments and he had to remove it. Why is the dental community so insecure with this truth? Are there more dentists like these who perform procedures in which they are not trained to make additional money? That's not healthcare practice, that's fraud.
Are BDS graduates allowed to perform hair transplants in India? Seems like it's not just Ayush botching up public health, but registered doctors using wellness and functional medicine and other doctor groups such as dentists meddling in things that are beyond their responsibilities harming people out here. India is seriously a banana republic for healthcare regulation. Someone actually needs to die, for regulation to kick in. Sad state of affairs.

#WATCH | Delhi | "1971 was a great achievement, Indira Gandhi rewrote the map of the subcontinent, but the circumstances were different. Bangladesh was fighting a moral cause, and liberating Bangladesh was a clear objective. Just keeping on firing shells at Pakistan is not a clear objective..." says Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on being asked about some social media buzz comparing Indira Gandhi's action as the PM to PM Narendra Modi's stance as India and Pakistan reached an understanding yesterday. Man travels across the globe with that car flaunting his Kannada pride, but get's humiliated back home for not having his car number plate written in kannada!
Ettinahole is an ecological disaster. Should not have happened in the first place. The Chief Minister @siddaramaiah declares government will tap more streams in the Malnad to get more water to areas in and around Bengaluru. People of Malnad are shocked. This kind of senseless act will make entire State dry one day. Time to put a stop. #Ettinahole
