The Western idea of teenagers working in cafes makes zero macroeconomic sense in India.
First there is absolutely no need for it.
​India is a labor surplus economy. Western cafes hire 16 yr due to a severe shortage of cheap adult labor. Here millions of adults desperately need these entry level service jobs to feed their families.
Allocating a cafe job to a teenager for pocket money when an adult needs it for basic survival is socially and economically tone deaf.
​Second the wage economics completely fail here. Because unskilled labor is abundant the market wage is incredibly low.
A teenager’s time is their absolute highest ROI asset. In our hyper competitive, developing economy, their sole economic utility should be human capital formation studying, clearing exams, and building specialized skills.
​Blindly importing a Western model built for labor scarce economies isn't progressive, it's just bad economics.

Corruption catches headlines. The crackdown on corruption rarely does. That is why the recent crackdown by Rajasthan against corruption deserves attention.

Under Rajasthan CM's push for greater accountability in governance, twenty officials and employees, including an RAS officer, have been dismissed from service. Another 332 have been suspended, 17 have lost their pensions, prosecution has been sanctioned in 108 corruption-related cases, and investigations are underway in 577 more cases.

Whether every individual case ultimately stands the test of due process is for the legal system to decide. But as a common citizen, it is encouraging to see a strong message being sent: those who misuse public money, sit on files, harass citizens, or treat accountability as optional should know that consequences can follow.

People don't expect miracles from the system. They simply want honest work, timely decisions, and consequences for those who misuse public office. If this approach is applied fairly and consistently, it is a step in the right direction.

Honestly, India's youth has become way too easy to manipulate. No research, no critical thinking, no real understanding of politics, governance, or even basic civic sense.. just viral reels, edits, and blind hype. A random guy sitting comfortably in the USA creates a "youth party, says a few motivational lines online, and suddenly thousands start treating him like some revolutionary leader.
Most of these people can't stay disciplined in their own lives, dont want to study properly, dont want to work hard, complain about everything, yet somehow think they fully understand how to change an entire country.
Nobody asks the important questions: Who is the founder? What has this founder actually achieved? What's the real agenda? What experience does he have? What's the actual plan beyond social media marketing? But of course, asking questions requires intelligence. Blindly following trends is easier. This generation doesnt follow facts anymore. it follows whatever looks cool on Instagram..
