Happy Father’s Day.
My father taught me the meaning of sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance. He worked hard, provided for his family, and showed me through his example that no obstacle is too great when you lead with courage and determination.
Everything I have done in life has been shaped by the values he instilled in me. Today, I honor him and all fathers who give so much so their children can dream bigger, work harder, and build a better future.
Today we celebrate Juneteenth a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for justice.
As we honor Black history and the generations who fought for equality, we recommit ourselves to building a country where freedom and opportunity are real for everyone.
Happy Juneteenth.
I’m the only candidate running for Governor who worked for President Trump and helped get him elected in South Carolina in 2016 - the very first time he ran.
We collected 3,600 signatures across the district and proudly submitted 2,000 validated signatures after review.
I personally had 1,400+ one-on-one conversations with residents while gathering signatures at grocery stores, malls, and neighborhoods across the district working to earn every signature the right way.
This is what public service is about showing up, listening, and putting in the work every day. #MI13 #Community #Leadership
U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar, D-Michigan's 13th Congressional District, held a town hall Sunday for constituents on the war in Iran. https://t.co/4flFUIA0Cm
Last month, I stood with our community at a “No Kings” protest because we don’t do kings here, we do accountability.
I’ll keep fighting to protect our democracy and keep power where it belongs: with the people.
Vice President J.D. Vance came to Michigan, telling voters to “double down” on Donald Trump while dismissing concerns about gas prices.
Meanwhile, gas prices in Michigan are up 28% from a year ago.
Michiganders deserve an administration focused on lowering costs for families, not starting wars that drive prices even higher.

I am deeply disturbed by the attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield today. No one should ever face violence in a place of worship.
I am grateful for the swift actions of security and first responders, and relieved that children, staff, and congregants were brought to safety.
Antisemitism and hate have no place in Michigan or anywhere in our country. We stand firmly with the Jewish community and will continue working to ensure every family can worship in peace and without fear.
Glad to have the support of the Michigan Machinists Council.
Michigan’s machinists are at the heart of our state’s manufacturing strength. I’m proud to stand with them as we fight for good-paying union jobs and a stronger future for working families.
