For anyone looking to get help with job search. Reach out with a definitive ask, your chances of getting the help that you need will increase tenfold. It’s hard for people to create a plan of action for you, simply mentioning that you’re in the job market isn’t enough context.

One of the kids I mentored for design education shared that they are joining a design school in Mumbai and linked the school’s Instagram page instead of the website for me to look at.

I guess verified Instagram pages are now equivalent of official websites? My millennial brain stopped working for a second.

@graceleaf_ Someone asked me “what do you do when you’re not working?” and I didn’t know what to say for a second. “Where do you work?” or “what do you do for a living?” are such commonly asked questions that I have the answer scripted at this point.
