Come out to the Laurel Ridge Holiday Book Fair tonight, Nov. 29, from 4:30 - 7:00 to do some early Christmas shopping! I'll be in the Corron Community Development Center with about 50 of my favorite local authors!
@dylanwiliam I am reading The Formative Five by Fennel, et al and they quoted you in reference to hinge questions. Can you give me an elementary math class example?
@DrMayaAngelou I get questions about my faith all the time and I am never going to stop believing and praying to my God. Something does happen for the person I am praying for and yes something grows inside of me.
@MandyMathEd Amanda the SOR is more than phonics, but this is one of the strands in Scarboroughs rope that needs to be focused on. Comprehension is also a part of the SOR.
It's out! Learn how to support students who come from economically disadvantaged homes. We can do better! Not just a children's book but a book for educators. See my blog to get tips on how to help support students. https://t.co/bZiXk3EWVc
My first children's book will be released on Amazon, Barnes & Noble soon! The book Somethin’ Out of Nothin’ is written for students, teachers, administrators, and division leaders who have concern about students who are low socioeconomic and who are not performing as well.
It happened today! https://t.co/bZiXk3EWVc
My book was published and is now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble! My website went live! If you're an educator, check out my website and blogs to understand how to help students in poverty.
Somethin' Out Of Nothin'
It’s Teacher Appreciation Week!
To celebrate, I’m giving away two class sets of A Work in Progress, one here and one on Instagram.
EDUCATORS — to enter here: RT this tweet and follow me. Bonus entry: tag a fellow teacher who deserves these.
THANK YOU, teachers, for ALL you do!
Love this! I wonder what words students would want to see every day. I wonder what words students should see and feel every day. #doitforchildren#relationshipssavekids
"Our new hopscotch was installed outside the counselor’s office! It’s an important reminder to our students about how valued they are!"
