If 95% of your teammates are showing growth and development, and you’re not… don’t come complain to me.
You won’t like that conversation.
You get what you put into the weight room every single day. You can’t hide from the process. You can’t cheat the weight room.
Eventually, it will expose you!
Live at the CUSD Showcase where prospects from about 15 Central Valley high schools are competing in front of college coaches!
A large contingent of Fresno State assistants are here. Cal Poly HC Tim Skipper is present in his return to the Valley.
Also on hand are coaches from Cal, Boise State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Sac State, UC Davis, Montana State, NAU, and more.
Let me just say this, when the game gets tough, the calls don’t go our way, or the scoreboard isn’t what we hoped for… take a deep breath and remember who’s out there with your kids.
They’re being coached by men who love them, believe in them, and pour into them every single day, on and off the field. These coaches give their hearts, their time, and their families to this game.
And speaking of families… that part? It’s not easy. Our kids miss their dads. We wives are holding it all together, working full-time, running households, and showing up in those stands no matter what. We see the long nights, the heartbreak, the passion, and the purpose.
So when you’re at a game, and emotions are running high, and those coach’s wives are sitting right in front of you, maybe think twice before tearing down the very people pouring into your kids. A smile, a hug, or a simple “thank y’all for what you do” goes a long way. ❤️
Yes, football is emotional. Yes, we all want to win. But at the end of the day, we’re all on the same team.
Great to have @FresnoStateFB WR Jordan Brown in studio today.
The Senior was named the Humanitarian award winner by the Idaho Potato Bowl last season.
Listen to his chat with @StephenABC30 coming up on Bulldog Breakdown at 6:50pm.
“I want guys to run Track in the Spring. It’s hard to manufacture that level of competition. It’s You vs. the Clock. When you get out on the track and compete you’re going to get better.
