Would you like to join our dynamic pastoral team to assist in our mission that all our students are known and known well? Renowned for our focus on wellbeing and support to ensure academic success, this is a brilliant opportunity to be Pastoral Manager for next year’s Y7.
Well done to last weeks ‘life of a lockdown legend’ winner, Izzy, who represented current Year 7 life perfectly!
Well done Izzy, enjoy your prizes, including the Commendation that has been issued!
Congratulations to our February 50/50 winner Claire Henderson 👏🏻🏻
Plus it’s not to late to join and have a chance of winning for just £5 for the rest of the year please get in touch if you are interested in joining SHSPTA 50/50 draw - good luck
With our trick shot challenge underway, let’s start by rolling back the clock to this bad boy from Alfie in Y7, who took making his mum a cup of Tea to the extreme...
⚽️➡️🫖✅ 👏
Our last @ShenfieldHigh#lockdownlegends challenge is upon us, and it’s time to have some fun!
We’re looking for your best TRICK SHOTS!

We don’t care if it takes you 200 failed ❌ attempts, we just want to see that final shot where it all goes right! ✅
You can capture your clips throughout the week, you can even use old ones (as long as in Lockdown!) to show us all the things you have been up to.
But we want just the finished piece, the masterpiece!
Get creative, throw in some tunes, but get your one minute clip in by Friday!
More importantly... let’s crack on with this weeks extra curricular challenge.
We’ve had the super talented, we also had the super resilient clocking up kilometres in snow! ❄️This week is for our creative crew...
1 minute video edit:
‘A day in the life of a lockdown legend...’
The definition or irony...
Not seeing the ‘Schools will be open on March 8th’ statement because I was still here, at school...which is by that statement apparently not even open... 🤷♂️

Despite the awful weather this week we have seen so many students and staff get involved with the Staff v Students Team Distance Challenge. Well done to everybody who got involved. It takes a lot of mental strength to get out in that weather, you are all winners! 🏅👏🏻💪🏻
But there has to be a winner, aside from Mr Sapsford claiming that ‘running is the only winner’...
This time round, well done to the 6 staff teams , who stole it by 60km, just 2.5km per staff participant!
Well done to all who took part, have a great (and restful!} half term!
Well done to all staff and students who took part. Every Kilometre truly mattered in the overall Staff Vs Student totals.
Together, just shy of of 3000km were travelled last week, enough to run to Rome and back!
Our staff competition was fierce, but one team absolutely hammered their total all week with some very early runs!
Mr Macdonald, Mr Shearing, Mr Cooke and Mrs Small led the staff roster, finishing on 375.16km! 🥇🥇🥇🥇
🥈Team Sapsford - 287km
🥉Team Rigg - 249km
And in Year 7... it only got better, with one of our student teams smashing the 200km barrier, finishing the 5 days on 201.05km.
The ‘Running riot’ team, not only won the Year competition, but led all student teams. Amazing effort boys!
