Sharlene Mawdsley (Newport AC) has clocked a new 200m PB of 23.09 (-0.1m/s) to take victory at the IFAM Outdoor, a World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meet, in Brussels.
Mawdsley's previous best (23.18) had been set in June 2023. She now moves to fifth on the Irish all-time list for the event 📈

Josh Kerr runs an 800m PB of 1:44.60 at the Sound Running Track Festival in Los Angeles with fellow Scot Jake Wightman clocking 1:44.74.
Victory goes to Brandon Miller of the United States in 1:44.26 with Abe Alvarado runner-up as Kerr and Wightman are third and fourth ahead of Bryce Hoppel and Donavan Brazier in fifth and sixth.

Eliezer Adjibi 🇨🇦 ran a new Personal Best (PB) of 10.01s (2.0) to win the men's 100m at the Stratford Speed GP.
He beat Cravon Gillespie 🇺🇸 who ran 10.08s and Nicholas Walsh 🇬🇧 in 10.09s.

🚨 ICYMI: New Mexico’s Habtom Samuel clocked a PHENOMENAL time of 12:57.22 for 5000 meters at the Sound Running Track Fest yesterday! 🤯🔥
That is a NEW collegiate record for the outdoor 5000 meters, with Samuel breaking his own outdoor record of 13:03 from earlier this spring. 📈
Northern Arizona alum Nico Young still holds the outright collegiate record of 12:57.14 (5k) from an indoor track race in 2024.
Samuel is set to attempt the 10k/5k double at the West Regional Championships during the upcoming week.

In her first race since officially joining Team New Balance Boston last month, Roisin Willis picks up the 800m win at LA Track Fest in 1:58.08. That’s the fastest outdoor time of the Stanford product’s career, and her only faster run overall is her American indoor record from January.
Klaudia Kazimierska finished a close second in 1:58.18, while Raevyn Rogers just got under two minutes at 1:59.82.
