I wanted to transfer money to an Opay account, but I mistakenly picked gtbank. It returned the recipient's name and the transfer was "successful".

I checked the banks I use to see if such accounts exist with my phone number. It turned out they exist only with @gtbank and @myaccessbank. This should be a cause of concern as the mistake I made can be made by anyone. A mistake that should have been flagged by the app @cenbank.

The recipient didn't receive the money. I lodged a complaint to @myaccessbank, and I was referred to @gtbank . Gtbank referred me back to Access. This is the response from Access Bank.
