@ShogiDad Thanks again for having me i truly think this is one of the video that needs to be watched when you are still unsure about what to do in shogi !Hoping to do more of these in the future!
A new episode of the Shogi in the West podcast is here, featuring @ShuitBenjamin! In this episode we discuss a wide range of topics, including tournaments, opening preparation, managing losses, aifuribisha, mukaibisha, and of course the new app, #棋桜. https://t.co/IRPmCtxIeb
I just finished up a 5 hour KIOU livestream and all of a sudden I'm thinking "I can't wait for tomorrow's stream." The players I'm being paired with have somehow become even more ferocious and, even when I held massive advantages, they fought with every single breath until they wore me down. My beautiful 0.800 winrate is now just barely over 0.5. 😱 Great games to my opponents. 🙇♂️

I have been playing KIOU every day since it launched and I am loving it more than I expected. At this point, here is my wishlist for the future:
• Full Fischer mode voice counting below 10 which resets each time we cross 10 just like on the Citizen Meijinsen DIT-40 clock.
• Fully featured kifu editing and review.
• Remove or extend the idle time alert. (FIXED)
• Tournament rooms with the ability to buy and set prizes as well as spectate games easily!
• Friends list / ability to see friend status and observe their games.
• A way to search for players by name and view their statistics and kifus.
• A means to gift diamonds or monthly passes to other players would enable streamers to award viewer prizes.
• macOS version (I am currently running the app under Wine/CrossOver).
• Mobile version availability in the United States. Right now KIOU seems to only be available in the Japan store region?
• Remember the last playing mode when starting a new game instead of always selecting Casual mode.
