I met with the brave families of Avera Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed, Oron Shaul & Hadar Goldin. Their strength in the face of heartbreaking adversity is an inspiration. We unequivocally condemn Hamas' actions & stand with Israel in demanding the immediate return of their loved ones.

This week we had the honor of hosting a delegation of Jewish leaders from North America at our headquarters in Jerusalem.

Thank you to our dear friends from @zionistrabbis for visiting us and for your constant dedication to your communities, Israel and the Jewish people.

I could not end my statement at #UPR43 without reminding States about the plight of Oron Shaul, Hadar Goldin, Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed, who are still held captive in Gaza by the Hamas terrorist organization.

The suffering of the kidnapped and their families must end!

Historic and festive event in Jerusalem: the Syriac Patriarch arrived from Syria for the installation of a new Patriarch of Jerusalem! Delegations came from India, Jordan, Germany and Sweden to celebrate with them. Heads of other churches joined as well.
