[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@posttrey He overestimated how many teams actually want him and underestimated how replaceable he is in this lineup right now.

So pretty much no risk

Hellebuyck return:

Mercer
Command
Daws
Bjugstad
2nd 2029
7th 2027

@posttrey We know they tried Nikishin. Not sure why they settled on Mercer as the roster player unless NJ was the only team still calling them this close to the deadline.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@AvsCanesFan Hofer plays the puck like he's Mike Smith, so either option will be fun.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

Mercer's a pretty good playmaker, even if he's not elite. Wonder how he stacks up to the rest of the Jets forwards.

Holy crap.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@corylav It is wild how much Jarvis took off in Year 3.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

I think every Devils fan in my mentions has wanted to get rid of Mercer for two years.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@BFem09 He is the baseline of what you'd expect go give up when "roster player" is mentioned.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@DebM_ACK Jarvis was a regular last year. Before then I'm pretty sure he was 0fer his entire career.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@DimFilipovic He is a jackal with rabid hyena strength.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

Absolutely unreal overtime period.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@SamuelPlotHooks That one was fairly normal for a change.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

Oh here comes the unpredictable madness that is RBA’s shootout lineup.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

Jackson Blake hauling ass to get McDavid, Ghost intercepting a breakaway, Walker ending an offensive zone shift on cement legs. Just great stuff.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

They gave the two Canes I’d least expect to score a golden chance and I still thought it was going in with how drunk this game has been.

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

That’s got to be the unluckiest stick lift I’ve ever seen.

Blake and Stankoven on defenseman breaking the puck out

[Corey Sznajder @ShutdownLine]

@CJTDevil He’s usually one of the most heavily taxed forwards on breakouts/retrievals. The roof just caved in for him last year with turnovers and a lot of negative plays. It was tending that way for a couple seasons though.
