It’s easier to find happiness in little things when you are not the one paying.
“I had so much fun today. We should do this again.”
Why won’t you have so much fun, eeh fine girl? No be you them debit na.
On the average, a fine girl in this country has men at her beck and call to do these “little things” for her: shawarma, cinema, fixing of nails, birthday photoshoots, etc. Girl fit just dey bored now, text you with, “I’m bored, come and take me out,” and you will tell her to get ready and drive down to pick her up. Take her to a very decent place and she will have a great time, and when you guys are done, you drop her back at her place. Who is likely to find fun in this "little thing?"
I would encourage men to try to have fun too. Learn to enjoy life too. On your own, go on solo dates. Go to restaurants and eateries and eat. You mustn’t wait until a babe is involved to enjoy your own money.
Celebrate your wins, your birthdays. No be only women supposed dey celebrate am. Take life one day at a time. No allow, “Wetin dey make man sad na how to make am,” or, “I dey find generational wealth,” consume you. Don’t wait until you have the kind of money that you envisaged before you start living. Sadly, not everyone is going to make it or attain their desired life. You may die without ever knowing happiness if you live that way.
Learn to create your own little things and find happiness in them. No be everything be waste of money like you have come to believe. Take care of your looks, dress well, eat good, spend time with your family, experience fun that you can afford at that moment, live!
