The embarrassment that comes after loving someone wholeheartedly not knowing that they’re busy with someone else and there are people who know about it.
I’m starting to realize a lot of people don’t lose good people… they push them away. Lack of appreciation, inconsistency, and weird energy will make someone who was once all in slowly detach. Then when they finally walk away, it’s “what happened?” like you weren’t watching it happen in real time.
I've tasted trying to fix people, and I've tasted forcing the truth down their throats. I highly recommend not caring more about people's lives than they do. No one is your assignment. Not even the ones you love.
Its not always good to tell people to be strong when they are going through something emotional.
You just have to be there for them to cry out their pain and offer comfort.
In a relationship, you can’t just do whatever you want. You have to consider how your actions affect your partner. That’s something this generation often doesn’t understand.
Unfortunately, I am a girl who takes words to heart ! So yes, I remember every little thing you said & it stuck with me, whether it was good or bad !
Have you ever cried because you felt sorry for yourself, wondering why someone came into your life, made you fall in love, and then left you with the deepest pain?
hardest pill i’ve had to swallow this year so far was learning that no matter how good you can be to someone, no matter how long you’ve been there for them, no matter how much you love them.. that they CAN & they WILL turn their back on you & there's nothing you can do but detach
Nobody talks about this enough: being broke makes you a worse person. more jealous. more reactive. more desperate. Poverty doesn't just shrink your wallet, it shrinks your character.
Nobody asked to be born. You chose to have the child. The child didn't choose you. So the "I sacrificed for you" argument should stop. Parents should stop the emotional manipulation of their adult children. The world is tight on them already. They're not your retirement plan.
And please don’t forget to check your own attitude too. sometimes you’re the one contributing to the problem. acknowledge your mistakes, recognise when you’ve hurt others, and accept that there’s work to be done. apologise, unlearn and relearn, that’s growth.
No one can defeat you if you don't fear solitude, because solitude makes you independent, it makes you strong, it makes you untouchable. When you are not afraid to stand alone, you cannot be controlled, you cannot be broken, and you cannot be stopped.
There are moments in life where you need to be silent and isolated. Not because anything is going wrong or right but just to sit with yourself,to check in. Away from the noise, opinions, validation and conversations. In those moments you go deep within you. Have such moments!❤️
