@MikedUpSports1 Playoffs W L Record
Roethlisberger - 13-10
Rodgers - 11-10
Brees - 9-9
A lot of underachieving in playoffs, and not going to playoffs enough by Brees too that no one talks enough.
In 1982, in a game that became known as the ‘Disgrace of Gijón’, Austria eliminated Algeria from the World Cup by rolling over to West Germany, allowing both European sides to qualify
That game is why for ~40 years all final group games have been played at the same time…
If they beat France, yes I buy what you selling. If not, not really. I mean Senegal, Iraq are literally nobody in broader soccer spectrum.
That being said, Bosnia and Herzegovina are not real powerhouse.
Unfortunate to see Italian standard what we used to see in 90s/2000s drop.
Good QB but somehow Steelers make it harder for him except in 2021 season.
2025 Cincinnati Thursday night game I think Steelers win if Burrow plays instead of Flacco. Something about Flacco knowing about tricks Pittsburgh has even though he is inferior QB to Burrow at this stage of their career.
@unpluggedmonkey@Halgrender@We_Global I agree they are favorites due to goal difference but that’s also because they played Haiti. Have a feeling this is going to go to wire with Brazil winning the group by a goal in 75th minute.
@ManagerTactical I really didn’t see anything Belgium has done so far that makes me take a pause. I guess you can say holding Egypt a draw is an achievement. Still, Next thing you know, even New Zealand 🇳🇿 can beat and eliminate them.
Anybody but Spain, they won all games 1-0 in knockouts. It’s not sustainable.
I guess you got to to take Peak Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo, also that loss in 98 fueled them, followed by Italy 06. Something about beating Germany at home.
That team was too strong mentally.
PS - IMO, You can’t show kaka in 02 picture.
He barely played.
After taking 🇦 to group stage exit in 2002 in group of death, Marcelo Bielsa
Is taking 🇺🇾 closer to group stage exit in 2026.
Definitely a disappointment so far.
Anything can happen in 3rd game but Both Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde should now have higher probability than Uruguay (who needs to beat Spain or draw and hope for luck) to reach knockout stage.

As someone who has these two amazing movies in my top 25 movies ever, I have a slight different view.
It’s better prob not by a lot.
You can relate to dead poets society much easily.
Schools, teachers, drama, science, sports is part of day to day and can influence anyone. Doesn’t have to be boarding school but any part especially it has to do with antiestablishment.
There is less reason for you to connect to Boston/Cambridge/MIT if you are from South/Midwest. Yes, someone from
lower middle clsss background who has gone through difficult family situation growing up is not that uncommon in USA so I give you that but still can feel Bostonian.
Also impact of Neil’s death, Keating getting fired and students sticking up to him is probably higher than end of GWH. Yes, it’s not your fault and construction scene gets to you but I think death unfortunately makes it more impactful in DPS.
Amazing how both movies have that common presence of genius of Robin Williams.
@CelticKim1 Generally agree. They just blended so well with locals and energized the host cities with their fandom. I am going to give Norwegian Vikings a runner up. ROW…followed by Dutch.
@FAmmiranteTFJ Won’t be surprised if Spain pulls Dutch and score 5 but Saudi held Uruguay, a pretty good soccer nation to 1-1. You would think it counts for something and won’t be easy for Spain.
