Since today’s clip is everywhere, this is my son Tyler with line judge Jeff Seeman, No. 45, and a Super Bowl ring. I don’t have a bad word for the man I know.

Our family has spent many holidays at his house with his family, and his father Jerry Seeman — longtime NFL official, later the league’s director of officiating — were always welcoming and kind. Thanksgiving was football all day, and it was always a good time listening to Jeff and Jerry officiate from the couch.

Everybody has a bad moment. Not everybody’s gets broadcast.
